Intraocular pressure, glaucoma
Have you heard of DHEA causing high IOP (intraocular pressure) or possibly temporary glaucoma. I have been taking DHEA for about a year. I like the benefits it has provided both physically and mentally. However my last flight physical for the military showed me having high IOP in both eyes. Two days after I stopped taking DHEA my pressures where back to normal.
I have not heard of this side effect yet, and I have not seen it mentioned in the medical literature, however it is a possibility to consider. There's a lot we don't know about the long term effects of DHEA. If your IOP is increased again after restarting the DHEA and then returns to normal after stopping, then that would make it quite likely that in your case it was involved.

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for a baby’s brain development. Most people choose to meet their daily requirements by consuming salmon or fish oil supplements. The mercury content in fish tends to make most pregnant women skeptical, so chia is a great alternative. For such a tiny seed, chia is quite high in omega-3 fatty acids. Typically, nuts and seeds with high fat content have short shelf lives before they turn rancid, but chia seeds are so rich in antioxidants they can be kept in storage for up to four years without deterioration.

Having a hot cup of coffee or tea is a great way to start the day, but in South America, you’ll find people waking up to a cup of special herbal brew called Yerba mate. The Yerba mate is said to be more stimulating than coffee, offering all the health benefits of tea and giving you the euphoric feeling you get when you consume chocolate. Its no wonder that this drink  is referred to the “drink of the Gods.” This unusual brew is more popular than coffee or tea in states like Uruguay, Argentina and southern Brazil and is even considered the national drink in some regions.
